On October 2, the Skyline cruise ship took to the sea for the annual Senior Dinner Cruise. The over 400 seniors at the event admired the skyline of New York City throughout the night and had a blast.

From every spot on the ship, amazing views dazzled the students. “Lots of super pretty buildings on the other side of the river,” explained Karina Cracchiolo. “We also got close to the Statue of Liberty, which was pretty cool.”

The cruise offered something for everyone. “It was a perfect balance between chilling, relaxing and having a good time on the dance floor,” said Christopher Liberal.

The majority of students spent the evening on the dance floor. “My favorite part about the night was when everyone was on the upper dance floor dancing to Ice Spice,” said Jennelle Sawyer.

Other students preferred the open air on the outside decks. “Sitting outside watching the buildings go by talking with friends was a lot of fun,” stated Luke Kennedy.

The seniors took advantage of the scenery and snapped photos all over the boat. “Exploring the boat and finding the best spot to take pictures was my favorite part of the night,” shared Cracchiolo.

Annabella Filocamo, Liliana Rubiera, and Makenzie Dunleavy hit the dance floor for the Cha Cha Slide.

The dinner part of the cruise offered mac and cheese, build your own tacos, Spanish rice, and an assortment of vegetables. “The food was actually shockingly good,” added Sawyer. “I thought it was going to be bad, but everything I had tasted good. The Mac and cheese tasted the best.”

A great night of dancing, talking, picture taking, and relaxing led to a successful dinner cruise for the seniors.
