Medical Club hosts Mental Health Fair
The Medical Club hosted the annual Mental Health Fair on May 19 in the courtyard.

At the Rooted in Culture Trip Around the World event on February 10, character ambassadors from Old Bridge elementary schools learned about different cultures.

On January 28, the Society of Women Engineers and Girls Who Code hosted their second Hackathon.
Never “board” at Game “Night”
On December 19, the Black Student Union and the People First Club collaborated to hold Game “Night” in the main building cafeteria to provide funds for Jamacia and Sudan.


4th annual Rice Festival
On December 10, the Asian American Club held their fourth annual Rice Festival in the main building cafeteria. The club showcased the culture through food, games, and dance.
Sharing Christmas traditions
Italian Honor Society and Club hosted Buon Natale, a Christmas event, on December 22. Students celebrated by learning about Italian culture and playing games.


Sweet treats, sweeter competition
The annual Gingerbread house contest, hosted by the Student Senate on December 10 in the main cafeteria, spread holiday cheer through friendly competition and festive, edible decorations.

Dumplings done right
On November 12, the National Chinese Honor Society hosted Dumpling Day after school in the main cafeteria. The event offered a fun way to experience Chinese culture through food.
Marching Champions
On November 8, the MarchingKnights won the US Bands Group I Open National Championship and earned wins for Best Music, Best Visual, and Best Percussion.


Harvest for the community
The Community Care Club hosted Harvest for Care, their first event of the year, on November 19. Around 75 attendees and club members fundraised for the Old Bridge Food Bank, listened to the guest speaker, played games, and more.
Over the Moon for Mooncakes
The National Chinese Honors Society led the Mid-Autumn Festival celebration on October 6 during both lunch periods.


Marching to 1st Place
The Marching Band has carried a wave of momentum through their fall season, taking first place at multiple competitions while earning top honors in music, visual performance, and overall effect.

On October 7, underclassmen gathered in the cafeteria to have a great night with friends and take their shot at winning various prizes.

The French Honor Society hosted the La Fête des Crêpe event on April 28 in the courtyard. The event featured crepes made by the FHS using a variety of ingredients.
JSU rises to the occasion with annual Challah Bake
On May 14, the Jewish Student Union held their second annual Challah Bake, an event where students took on the challenge of making challah, a traditional Jewish bread.


An Italian Easter
The Italian Honors Society hosted an after-school meeting on April 9 to celebrate Pasqua, better known as Easter. Around 20 attendees came to learn about Pasqua, enjoy snacks, and participate in many activities.
Coding with creativity
On February 19, the Society of Women Engineers and Girls Who Code hosted the first Hackathon. The event gave students the opportunity to use their creative skills in addition to their coding skills.


Cheerleading flips the competition
On February 9, the varsity cheer placed first with their Traditional routine. They placed second in traditional at States on February 22.
Celebrating culture with food, music, and dance
The Mock Shaadi event, hosted by the Asian American Club, took place on February 23. Students experienced cultural music, dance performances, food, and more.


Celebrating Soul Food
The Black Student Union celebrated this Black History Month with their annual Soul Food event on February 27. Students gathered and savored delicious foods, dance performances, and more.
Cupid aims at OBHS
Multiple clubs embraced the month of love by holding Valentines-themed events. The fundraisers offered many activities for students to enjoy while supporting significant causes.


Grace in every step
The dance team finished the season strong, striving for victory. In their best showing of the competition season, they secured 3rd place in jazz and 5th in hip-hop at a competition on Sunday, January 12.
Celebrating the year of the snake
On January 30, the National Chinese Honor Society hosted the annual Chinese New Year Celebration to commemorate the beginning of a new year on the lunisolar calendar.


Esports on the rise
The Esports team made it to the State Championships during the fall season and two players managed to reach GSE All-Stars. Multiple classes contribute to the team’s success in various ways, such as social media.
AFJROTC flies through inspection
The AFJROTC program performed in an inspection on December 3. They exceeded standards from the inspector, assistant regional director James Garcia.


GHS’s whimsical Winterfest
The German Honor Society hosted their annual Winterfest on December 19. The event featured plenty of fun activities and entertainment, including engaging competitions, festive music, catered traditional German food and more.
ACC hosts 3rd Annual Rice Festival
The Asian American Club celebrated aspects of Asian culture at their annual Rice Festival. The club created a fun environment full of different foods, activities, and performances for everyone to enjoy.

On November 12, the National Chinese Honor Society held their annual “Dumpling Day” event. Approximately 70 students attended this event in the main cafeteria after school and participated in various activities, including experimenting with making their own dumplings.


Fishing trip hooks experienced and new anglers
On October 21, the Hooked on Fishing-Not on Drugs club left the Belmar Marina and spent the day fishing for black sea bass and corgis.
Knights march to victory
The Marching Knights competitive season officially began on September 28 at the New Jersey Marching Band Directors Association competition and the band has already earned victories.
