The annual fall comedy, hosted by the drama department in the auditorium, officially debuts on November 21. This production, Don’t Dress for Dinner, features an abundance of chaos and twists guaranteed to spark laughter.
The event required a long and extensive preparation process. “It’s been taking a lot of effort and hard work from the cast to put on such an amazing show, which is more and more noticeable come every day,” explained Sandro Quinones, who plays the role of George.

Cast members worked tirelessly to perfect their performances. “We have been rehearsing every day after school since September, first blocking the show, and now running the show to make sure we give the audience the greatest show ever,” shared Camryn Burniston, who portrays the role of Bernard.

Confusion plays a significant part in the production’s humorous plot. “Don’t Dress for Dinner is a storyline full of miscommunications leading to misunderstandings and chaos,” noted Olivia Medina, who plays a cook named Suzette. “It consists of people pretending to be other people and many affairs,”
The cast remains optimistic their hard work and determination will show with their performance. “I know for a fact that I’ll be terrified on opening night, but that’s the best part. I love the feeling of deep anticipation when you realize you’re on stage soon,” Quinones commented.

The combination of talented performers and profuse humor ensures the audience will have a great time. “On opening night, I think I will be a little nervous, but I know those feelings will be overcome with the excitement of finally having people to watch the show we have worked so hard on,” Medina revealed.
