The boys lacrosse team finished strong last year with a 9-3 record in their final 12 games. The players hope to carry that success into the upcoming season through preparation and reflection.
The team began noting expectations and facing them as the season approached. “I expect our team to work hard, build off our underclassmen and to show how high our potential as a group is,” said midfielder Jack Goldman.
The players have prepared as a team and individually. “With any free time I have, I always have a stick in my hand, practicing my skills,” stated junior defenseman Thomas Kasoff.
Entering fourth year as a varsity contributor, Jordan Christensen, a senior attacker, has already scored 97 career goals. “My goal for this season is for the team to have a winning record and for me to be a role model to the younger players,” said Jordan Christensen, who led the team with 57 goals last year.

The athletes know what they should do to ensure success in the upcoming season. “I need to be more consistent and communicate more,” expressed Goldman.
The players plan to do everything they can on and off the field to continue the team’s success. “I’m doing everything I can like eating right and making sure my stick skills are up to par,” declared Jason Wheeler, a junior defender.

Behind all that preparation and hard work, excitement fills the air. With pre-season games already generating buzz, people wait for wonderful memories and nail-biting wins. “I’m most excited to get back to being on the field with my boys again and having a good time,” said Dylan Vislocky, a junior goalie who earned a starting role as a sophomore.
The team will open the season with a game at East Brunswick on March 29, and face Robbinsville in the home opener at 4pm on April 4 at Geick Field.
