On September 15, 440 seniors dressed to the highest degree filled buses to make their way to their Dinner Cruise. As one of the first senior events of the year, the cruise allowed seniors to take in the sights of the New York City skyline while enjoying the luxuries of the ship.
As students set sail from port with the beautiful sunset in the distance, students took opportunities to have their own photoshoots all across the deck to immortalize the memory of this event. “I liked the picture taking,” explained senior Esha Mehta. “Everyone was taking pictures during the sunset.”

On the journey around the harbor, passengers spotted breathtaking sights like the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge. “The Statue of Liberty was my favorite, but it wasn’t the only view,” shared senior Harold Denney. “We also got to witness the bridges and beautiful New York skyline during the sunset and nighttime shining with many lights.”

Students filled the dance floor all night, living it up to popular songs like “Baby” by Justin Bieber, “FE!N” by Travis Scott, and ending the night with “My Shot” by Lin Manuel-Miranda. “My favorite moment would be taking pictures and dancing with all my friends,” said senior Hayley Butchyk.
Though if someone wanted a chance to take a break away from the chaos, the upper and lower decks allowed space for students to lounge around or play games like UNO, chess, or foosball. “[I enjoyed] dancing on the dance floor and relaxing on the top deck of the ship,” stated senior Japji Singh.

The unlimited buffet offered chicken, mac and cheese, brownies, cookies, and more. “[My favorite was] the mac and cheese,” said senior Elizabeth Donou.
Seniors of previous years recommended heavily to the class of 2026, and the Dinner Cruise became a night to remember and reminisce about in the years to come. “All the seniors from previous years told me how much fun it was and to attend anything you can,” remarked Denney. “I love events, and I loved being able to socialize and dance with many of my friends.”
