The girls’ soccer team has a strong record of 12-2-1 and 6-0-1 in the Red Division. They have found success against two of their toughest opponents, East Brunswick and Monroe.
The girls’ soccer team earned a 2-1 revenge win against East Brunswick. “Having us come back from being down both games to our rival shows our perseverance. It shows that we can do anything, and this group can achieve remarkable things,” said Nicole Nolan, who scored three of the four goals against East Brunswick across both games and assisted on the other one.
Beating East Brunswick holds true significance since the Knights lost to them repeatedly in 2022 and 2023 but have now started the winning streak, winning against East Brunswick for the last two years. “The win over East Brunswick was the most meaningful because we were down 1-0 for most of the game, but then we kept fighting as a team and came back,” said freshman Sofia Reidinger, who stands tied for the team lead with 10 goals.
The Knights also defeated Monroe 3-0 after losing to them in the GMC Tournament Finals last year. “It was one of my favorite wins because playing Monroe has always been a big mental challenge for out teams and we all played together and for each other that game,” said sophomore goalie Jessica Lane

The girls soccer team has already won the GMC Red Division regular season title. “It felt amazing because I think that we made program history as a team and have many accomplishments in the future,” said Riedinger, who scored a season-high three goals against Woodbridge on October 4..
The season is not yet over for the Knights, as they still have a chance to win the GMC Tournament and compete in the NJSIAA Tournament. Make sure to go and support the Knights in their next game against North Brunswick on October 16 at 4pm at Geick Park in the first round of the GMC Tournament.
