On February 26, the class of 2028 visited AMF Strathmore Lanes for their Bowling and Bagels field trip, organized class advisors Jessica Hertman and Amanda Ianucilli.

Bowling and Bagels continues the yearly trip tradition for the 2028 class. “I wanted to go because a lot of my friends were going and I like bowling,” said Liam Chung.

Students first got to pick groups and a lane to bowl in. “My favorite part of Bowling and Bagels was getting to bowl with friends, and even though I wasn’t very good at it, I still had a very fun time!” said Giuseppina Saraceni.

At the arcade, attendees played games like Mario Kart and Connect 4. “Mario Kart was my favorite game on the bowling trip because you could play against your friends,” said Marin Pollock.

The arcade also featured claw machines and a place to exchange tickets for toys. “My favorite game at the arcade was the claw machine where you got prizes out of it!” said Mackenzie Roberts. “There were little capybaras and little axolotls.”

Students could order food from the bowling alley in addition to the bagels that they received during the trip. “The bagel I had was delicious, and I ordered cheesy fries at the bowling alley that were great,” said Saraceni.

The trip gave students a fun activity to enjoy as a class. “My favorite part of Bowling and Bagels was getting to bowl with some of my close friends and watch all the other students there have a great time and laugh!” said Roberts. “I also enjoyed just making new memories and getting a strike!”
